Job Description

An exciting vacant position has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company - Ethiopia for the role of Accountant. East Africa Bottling Share Company ( EABSC) works with the world’s most cherished trademark; invests in the most sophisticated production system in the world and employ people who are prepared to work with passion and focus.

The position is structured to report to the Financial Accountant.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

General Accounting:

Maintain general ledger accounts and record daily transactions.

Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.

Review and approve invoices and vendor payments.

Close the monthly and annual books.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Analyze financial data and identify trends to inform business decisions.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting.

Communicate financial information clearly to management and stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.

Audit

financial transactions and records for accuracy.

Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Support other departments with financial-related tasks.

Stay updated on accounting software and best practices.

Skills, Experience & Education

First Degree in Accounting/Accounting and finance with a minimum of 2 years’ Experience

General

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in accounting software and principle

Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skill

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ethical and professional conduct:

Continuous learning and development mindset
