Coast Water Works Development Agency Senior Driver Jobs in Kenya


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive vehicles as authorized.

  • Ensure security and safety of vehicle, passengers, and goods.

  • Maintain daily work ticket.

  • Conduct routine checks on cooling, oil, electrical, brake systems, and tyre pressure.

  • Detect and report vehicle defects.

  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness and routine service.

  • Report accidents and follow up on police abstracts.

  • Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain insurance documents.

  • Update vehicle inventory.

  • Supervise and guide junior drivers.

    Qualifications & Skills

  • Nine (9) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) at Driver I or comparable position.

  • KCSE mean grade D or equivalent.

  • Valid Class BCE Driving License free from endorsement.

  • Defensive Driving Certificate.

  • Occupational Trade Test Grade I for drivers.

  • First‑Aid Certificate (St. John Ambulance or KIHBT).

  • Certificate of good conduct.

  • Refresher course for drivers every three (3) years.

  • Proficiency in computer applications.

  • Shown merit and ability in work performance.
