    Primary Function

  • Responsible for geological technology study and management in the oil/gas field development and preparation stage. .

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the oil/gas field volume of hydrocarbon in place calculation and uncertainties analysis.

    • Responsible for the geological study of oil/gas field, including reservoir structure, faulting, variations in properties.

    • Responsible for the geological data acquisition of evaluation of appraisal and development wells.

    • Determining appraisal and development well location and study while drilling.

    • In charge of the geological proposal, such as well geological proposal, logging proposal and geological data acquisition proposal.

    • In charge of the geological study of PRR/FDP study and implementation.

    • Analyze the geological problems during the stage of development and production and responsible for the management of geological research project.

    • Develop reservoir geology long term business plan, annual plan, responsible for geological record, submitting quarterly report, yearly report.

    • Provide data and technical advice to Partners, organize and prepare materials for meetings
    with partners and Gou.

    • Track dynamic drilling and determine the adjustment plan.

    • In charge of the yearly geological work program and budget.

    • Coach, develop and training employees.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or above in Petroleum engineering, geology or the related.

    • At least 8 years' experience in Oil & Gas industry.

    Knowledge

    • Extensive knowledge of geological research methods of FDP and Geomodeling.

    • Extensive knowledge of HIIP evaluation and uncertainties analysis.

    • Knowledge of exploration, appraisal and oil/gas field development,

    • Knowledge of Geophysics, petrophysics, reservoir engineering.

    • Understanding of petroleum policy and laws.
