Clinton Health Access Initiative Technical Advisor - Digital Health, Health Systems Strengthening Jobs in Ghana; CHAI seeks a Technical Advisor on Digital Health to join the National Health Intelligence Center (NHIC). The Advisor will support design, implementation, and optimization of digital health systems and tools that strengthen evidence-based decision-making across Rwanda’s health sector.

Responsibilities
Advisory Support

Provide advisory support on national digital health transformation agenda.

Ensure alignment with priority health sector reforms.

Digital Health Systems

Advise on design and establishment of the virtual hospital, including clinical workflows and infrastructure.

Drive coordination across technical departments to ensure coherent implementation and interoperability.

Data & Analytics

Synthesize NHIC data and analytics into high-quality leadership briefs and presentations.

Inform decisions at the highest levels of government.

Collaboration

Work under NHIC Director and Management team, seconded to Ministry of Health.

Report to CHAI’s HSS Associate Director and collaborate with national/international stakeholders.

Qualifications

Medical degree required; additional qualifications in health informatics/public health advantageous.

At least 2 years of experience in clinical/public health sector.

Experience providing technical assistance to government institutions.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Direct experience informing digital health strategies and operational plans.

Strategic thinker, able to handle ambiguity in fast-paced environments.

Quick learner, able to synthesize broad technical/public health information.

Fluency in Kinyarwanda and English required.
