CITAM Teacher Aide Jobs in Kenya

Job Summary

To pick and drop learners from their homes to the school and back on time and as per set
guidelines.

To provide the required support in class to facilitate learning and development.

The position reports to the Finance and Administration Officer, CITAM Schools.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure picking and dropping of learners at stipulated time and designated spots and
keep the records thereof.

Keep and update the register of learners being transported.

Accompany and supervise learners in the cafeteria, playground, swimming pool or on
field trips.

Ensure that only authorised learners are in the school transport at any given time.

Ensure that learners are in correct attire as they board/leave the bus.

Assist in feeding children and other basic care activities.

Maintain discipline and ensure safety of the learners during school transport.

Communicate with parents and the school administration on matters safety of learners.

Maintain high standards of hygiene.

Help teachers by performing routine non-teaching tasks.

Relieve Teachers if and when required.

Provide pastoral care for the children

Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the management.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum ECD certificate

Minimum one (1) year experience

Registered by the TSC

PI Teacher certificate an added advantage

Born again Christian, 25 – 35 years old.
