Job Summary

Prepare, produce and present programmes and interaction with audience. Inform, entertain, educate and provide spiritual nourishment to the listeners.

Key Responsibilities

Devote one hour or more to prayer and personal study of the word of God daily.

Research, plan and develop on air content, ideas and concepts in line with the
station strategy and values.

On air presentation/continuity and acting on feedback from listeners.

Producing and making use of user-generated content.

Music research: Identify and propose music that is in line with the station sound.

Execute commercial logs by carrying out paid for client commercials.

Perform any other duties & responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by
the supervisor.

Reports equipment problems to the Technical services manager and ensure that repairs are made, and make emergency repairs to equipment when necessary and possible.

Performs routine inspection, preventive maintenance and calibration of signal
processors and receivers for site uplink.

Maintaining an up to date equipment inventory.

Performs necessary upgrades, recommendations and research in consultation with the Technical Services Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Post-graduate diploma in any of the following: Media/communication studies, or Journalism.

Professional experience

in the media industry would be an advantage.

Other Qualifications

Must be a born again Christian aged between 25- 37 years.

Should demonstrate high levels of creativity and innovation.

Excellent communication skills and public speaking; ability to communicate well in
English and Kiswahili.

Must have good research and interview and good presentation skills, and a willingness
to learn new technical skills.

Able to work long hours of intense work.

An appreciation of music is a must.

Minimum three (3) years of similar / related experience.
