Job Summary

To offer creative design solutions to both internal (CITAM) and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Devote one hour or more to prayer and personal study of the word of God daily.
  • Develop annual work plans, procurement plans and budget as per the strategic plan.
  • Set targets and monitor performance of staff as per the work plans.
  • Manage client projects from concept through to design, layout, print and production.
  • Work with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style,
    format, print production and timescales.
  • Coordinate production activities with illustrators, photographers, printers, service
    agencies, advertisers and vendors.
  • Liaising with external suppliers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and materials are produced/supplied at the highest quality.
  • Review quality of materials during printing and approve printed products before
    release.
  • Work out and advice on the cost and timelines of delivery to the client/assemblies/
    departments.
  • Work with a wide range of tools and platforms including but not limited to photography and motion graphics.
  • Disciple, coach and mentor staff supervised.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO and other recognized standards.
  • Implement special projects as may be authorized by CITAM leadership.
  • Develop and maintain a proper record keeping system for easy retrieval and sustenance of the institutional memory.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Born again Christian with Bachelors Degree OR Diploma in Graphics Design and Communication.
  • Age limit, 25 – 35 years old

    Key Skills

  • Creative, passionate, flexible and analytical
  • Strong computer, Management and Good communication skills.

    Experience

  • 3 - 5 years of working as a Creative Designer in a busy design studio.
  • Proficiency on multiple design software.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
