Cipla Quality Chemical Industries Limited (CiplaQCIL) is East Africa's largest pharmaceutical manufacturer and one of the largest in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).

It is one of the few pharmaceutical CGMP compliant facility that manufactures a range of WHO prequalified medicines - ARV's and ACT's.

The Main Roles Include:

Planning and monitoring plant operations, process equipment maintenance and documentation

Developing, planning and supervising mechanical projects; both in-house and by contractors

Planning, supervising of routine and major overhaul works

Overseeing optimum usage of utilities within the plant

Planning and implementing continuous efficiency improvement initiatives

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Six (6) years of experience in manufacturing business and related projects

Knowledge in HVAC design, operations, validation and maintenance

Knowledge in Utilities design, generation, distribution and maintenance (steam, water, compressed, chilled water)

Strong knowledge in energy and water conservation

Ability to use AUTOCAD software and Microsoft office

Professional engineers license is an added advantage

Job Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Job Experience Requirements

Six (6) years
