Major Activities/Tasks:

• Carry out effective day to day civil maintenance

• Confer and collaborate with stakeholders, provide technical expertise and oversee structure implementation

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain civil projects and works including buildings, roads, water, waste management systems, landscaping and structural steel fabrications

• Develop construction specifications and procedures

• Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials

• Interpret, review and approve survey and civil design work

• Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations

• Conduct feasibility studies, economic analyses, municipal and regional traffic studies, Environmental impact studies or other investigations

• Conduct technical analyses of survey and field data for development of topographic, soil, hydrological or other information and prepare reports

• Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projects

• Create and revise project drawings and rendering using approved design software

• Complete and submit all permit applications to the appropriate agencies and ensuring projects are compliant throughout the design and construction stages

• Supervise technicians, review and approve designs, potential risks, material calculations and cost estimates in all infrastructure projects

• Prepare periodic reports for the Line Manager

• Any other

duties that may be assigned to you from time to time

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or any other relevant course

• Superior computer skills, with solid experience in AUTOCAD will be an added advantage

• 03 years+ demonstrable experience in a busy industrial set-up

• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

• Highly analytical mind, with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Self-started, flexible and able to work well under pressure at work

• Able to work shifts whenever required
