CIC Insurance Group General Manager – Medical Division - Jobs in Kenya

CIC Insurance Group wishes to recruit a high caliber individual in the position of General Manager-Medical Division.

They will be part of the leadership team and will play an integral role in influencing and executing overall Group strategy and plans.

Key roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall leadership and management to drive organizational strategy in the Medical Division to achieve profitability, customer & provider service levels, revenue & debt management objectives for business sustainability.
  • Develop and implement organizational policies and procedures for the medical division,
  • Conduct and administer fiscal operations, including accounting, planning budgets, authorizing, expenditures, establishing rates for services, and coordinating financial reporting for the Medical unit,
  • Prepare annual operating plans for the division and cascade the same to the team,
  • Develop, implement and continuously review technical, operational and administrative guidelines in Medical Underwriting, Claims and Business Development/Marketing,
  • Collect and analyse market information on medical insurance and make appropriate changes to plans and strategies and develop new products and benefit structures in keeping with customer requirements and market trends,
  • Developing monthly & quarterly performance reports.

    Academic and Professional Experience
  • Master’s degree in
    a business related field and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Relevant professional qualification.
    Member of a relevant professional body e.g. ACII/IIK.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience four (4) of which should be in a managerial level.
