Currently we are searching for a Cashier for Johannesburg, South Africa.

Responsibilities of this Post:

Greet customers entering establishments.

Compute and record transactions.

Sort, count and wrap notes and coins.

Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.

Establish or identify prices of goods and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers or optical scanners.

Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers.

Receive payment by cash or card.

Keep periodic balance sheets of amounts and numbers of transactions.

Stock shelves and mark prices on shelves and items.

Requirements of this Post:

Matric / Grade 12.

One to two years experience as a cashier.

Computer literate.

Ability to work with money.

Good interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with customers.
