Christian Blind Mission Senior Portfolio Manager Jobs in Kenya;Provide strategic leadership and oversight across CBM’s multi‑country NTD donor portfolio. Strengthen portfolio performance, ensure effective grant management and donor compliance, oversee financial and operational risk, and build strong relationships with institutional donors and partners.

Responsibilities

Grant Management & Donor Compliance

  • Lead grant management and compliance across NTD portfolio.

  • Review budgets, workplans, procurement plans and donor reports.

  • Oversee sub‑award management and compliance monitoring.

  • Identify and mitigate compliance risks.

    Portfolio Performance & Risk Management

  • Monitor portfolio performance, budget utilisation and milestones.

  • Lead portfolio‑level financial oversight and risk management.

  • Provide strategic analysis and recommendations.

    Donor Relations & Stewardship

  • Manage donor relationships and serve as key programmatic interface.

  • Contribute to donor stewardship, resource mobilisation and business development.

  • Provide programme performance and compliance information to support engagement.

    Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate grant compliance across country teams and CBM functions.

  • Provide strategic and operational support to country programmes.

  • Capture and share lessons learned to strengthen portfolio effectiveness.

    Requirements

  • Relevant academic degree in International Development, Public Health or related field.

  • Substantial experience in grants management within multi‑country donor‑funded programmes.

  • Experience managing institutional donor compliance frameworks.

  • Strong knowledge
    of NTD landscape and major donors.

  • Experience managing sub‑award agreements with partners.

  • Experience working across multiple country offices in international environments.

  • Strong donor‑facing communication skills.

  • Excellent organisational, analytical and cross‑cultural relationship‑building skills.

  • Professional proficiency in English and French.

  • Willingness to travel internationally and work flexibly across time zones.

  • Identification with Christian values and CBM’s mandate.
