Christian Blind Mission Senior Portfolio Manager - Inclusive Health Jobs in Zambia;We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to lead innovative programmes within CBM’s Inclusive Health Initiative (IHI), strengthening coordination across sectoral activities, fostering partnerships with national counterparts, and advancing CBM’s mission through high‑quality programme leadership. This position will be filled locally in one of CBM’s permanent established entities.
You Will
Set multi‑year strategic direction for the IHI portfolio, including resource allocation, risk management, and innovation priorities.
Provide strategic oversight of participatory project design processes, including logical frameworks, budgets, and implementation plans.
Ensure high‑quality programme delivery, monitoring, and evaluation.
Align IHI strategy with CBM country plans.
Line‑manage, mentor, and performance‑review IHI Portfolio Managers.
Lead proposal development, donor negotiations, and programme design.
Oversee initiative‑level monitoring, cross‑country synthesis, and reviews.
Track programme outputs and ensure corrective actions across IHI countries.
Develop programme and Board‑level reports and leadership briefings.
Coordinate partner engagement and represent IHI in sector forums.
Promote cross‑sector collaboration and integrated inclusive health approaches.
Champion safeguarding, disability inclusion, and programme quality.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Public Health, Rehabilitation Sciences,
Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field.
Minimum 10 years’ experience managing complex health or development programmes.
Experience across multiple health areas; digital health tools an advantage.
Direct line‑management experience of programme teams.
Proven track record in donor engagement and proposal development.
Experience representing organisations in global and policy forums.
Knowledge of policy frameworks and practices in Eye Health, Ear & Hearing Health, or Physical Rehabilitation.
Proven experience in project cycle management, M&E, and budgeting.
Strong partnership management, coordination, team leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multicultural settings.
Excellent English; French or Spanish an advantage.
Commitment to disability inclusion and safeguarding principles.
Identification with CBM’s mission, values, and mandate.
