Christian Aid Consortium Project Coordinator Jobs in South Sudan; Provide strategic leadership, coordination, and oversight for the Conflict Anticipatory Action Project (CAAP) consortium. Ensure partner accountability, donor compliance, and reporting standards while fostering collaboration, innovation, and conflict‑sensitive anticipatory action. Act as convenor, connector, and catalyst to strengthen relationships, link local knowledge with technical expertise, and promote timely, inclusive, and effective anticipatory action in fragile and conflict‑affected contexts.

Key Responsibilities

Consortium Leadership & Coordination

  • Convene consortium partners including SSCC, HRSS, Start Network, ACAPS, Crisis Lens, Climate Centre, and key stakeholders (CTSAMVM, UNMISS, South Sudan Red Cross, ACT Alliance, Caritas, UNOCHA, civil society actors, and authorities).

  • Support development of a shared anticipatory action system, activation architecture, and early action matrix combining automated signals, expert judgement, and community consensus.

  • Ensure synthesized analysis is shared with relevant agencies to inform anticipatory action and strengthen collective accountability.

    Connector Role
  • Strengthen relationships across consortium partners.

  • Link local knowledge with technical expertise.

  • Support effective flow of information, learning, and decision‑making.

    Catalyst Role
  • Promote innovation and create conditions for timely, inclusive, and conflict‑sensitive anticipatory action.

  • Facilitate training, monitoring, evaluation, and regular engagement with partners and stakeholders.

  • Build momentum, strengthen partner capacity, and support coherent delivery in fragile contexts.

    Requirements for Appointment

    Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in
    International Development, Conflict Studies, Humanitarian Action, or related field.

  • Proven experience in project coordination, partner management, and conflict‑sensitive anticipatory action.

  • Minimum 5–7 years’ experience convening diverse stakeholders and managing consortium projects.

    Skills & Competencies
  • Strong ability to translate analysis into practical plans and deliver against priorities, timelines, and reporting requirements.

  • Experience ensuring partner accountability and compliance with donor standards.

  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.

  • Ability to connect local knowledge with technical expertise to support effective action.

  • Motivated, collaborative, and able to thrive in fragile and conflict‑affected contexts.

    Other Requirements
  • Right to work in South Sudan (or country of posting).
