    Job Description

    Chemonics International, a leading international organization based in Washington, D.C., seeks grants, procurement, and contracts specialists candidates for the anticipated USAID funded Ethiopia electronic Health Information Systems (eHIS) activity.

    The primary purpose of the activity is to provide technical assistance and other services to support the Government of Ethiopia (GOE) to improve the quality of health service and create a sustainable health care system.

    The objectives of the activity include

  • Support information technology systems and data repository at all levels;
  • Build culture of data use; and 3) Capacity building and governance of MOH health information systems.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications:

  • Degree required; degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or management strongly preferred
  • Five years of demonstrated experience and success in setting up and managing grants under contracts
  • Demonstrated knowledge of USAID financial and management systems, regulations and reporting requirements
  • Experience in efficient programmatic and logistical operations management on USAID projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
    Proficiency in English required
