CHASP Advisory Independent Graphic Designer Consultant Jobs in Kenya; Provide creative graphic design, multimedia, and visual communication support to strengthen CHASP Advisory’s brand visibility, marketing materials, digital presence, and communication products.

Scope of Work

The consultant will work closely with the Head of Communications to deliver high‑quality, brand‑aligned, and audience‑appropriate design outputs guided by approved briefs, timelines, and branding standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design digital and print communication materials (brochures, flyers, posters, banners, newsletters, infographics, reports, publications).

  • Create social media graphics, campaign visuals, website graphics, and digital marketing assets.

  • Develop presentation decks, pitch decks, conference materials, and branded templates.

  • Layout reports, policy briefs, case studies, and knowledge products.

  • Prepare print‑ready and digital‑ready artwork.

  • Apply CHASP Advisory’s brand guidelines consistently.

  • Revise and refine outputs based on feedback.

    Occasional Tasks

  • Event branding materials (invitations, banners, certificates, signage, backdrops).

  • Campaign visual identities and promotional materials.

  • Website banners, landing page visuals, icons.

  • Basic video editing and short promotional videos.

  • Simple motion graphics and animated social media posts.

  • Organize and hand over editable design files and templates.

    Specialized Tasks (When Assigned)

  • UX/UI design support (wireframes, mock‑ups, prototypes).

  • Advanced motion graphics or animation.

  • Development of style guides and campaign‑specific design systems.

  • Creative input on campaign concepts and visual storytelling.

  • Use of AI‑enabled creative tools to improve workflow efficiency.

    Expected Deliverables

    Regular Deliverables

  • Social media graphics.

  • Marketing and promotional materials.

  • Presentation decks and templates.

  • Brochures, flyers, posters, banners.

  • Infographics and visual summaries.

  • Report and publication layouts.

  • Event and campaign graphics.

  • Print‑ready and digital‑ready artwork.

  • Branded templates and
    editable source files.

    Deliverables When Assigned

  • Website mock‑ups, landing page designs, prototypes.

  • Edited videos, event highlights, teasers.

  • Motion graphics and animated explainers.

  • Campaign visual identities and event branding packages.

  • Style guides and brand asset systems.

    Duration of Assignment

    One (1) year, commencing upon contract signature, renewable annually. Assignments issued on a task‑order basis, with payment upon submission and approval of deliverables.

    Reporting & Coordination

    Reports directly to the Head of Communications and collaborates with other team members as required.

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree, diploma, or professional training in graphic design, visual communication, multimedia design, or related field.

  • 3–5 years’ relevant experience in design, branding, or multimedia.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating digital, print, publication, and campaign design.

  • Experience designing reports, presentations, infographics, and marketing materials.

  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, composition, and brand consistency.

  • Ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging visuals.

  • Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work independently.

  • Ability to deliver high‑quality work within timelines.

    Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.

  • Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent UX/UI tools.

  • Canva and PowerPoint.

  • Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar multimedia tools.

    Added Advantage

  • Experience with think tanks, advisory firms, NGOs, or social impact organizations.

  • Experience designing for health, social protection, development, or public policy programs.

  • Experience in UX/UI design, motion graphics, or short‑form video editing.

  • Experience developing campaign identities and digital advertising creatives.

  • Familiarity with AI‑enabled creative tools.
