CFK Africa TechCraft Manager Jobs in Kenya



Key Responsibilities

  • Set and drive TechCraft’s strategic direction, scaling the Kibera pilot into national expansion.

  • Oversee delivery of skilled trades and digital gig work tracks, ensuring standardized systems and curricula.

  • Lead design and improvement of employer co‑designed training, Women at Work initiative, YDN rating system and tool lending library.

  • Build partnerships with employers, industry bodies and government agencies (including NITA).

  • Develop proposals, sustainability pathways and impact reporting.

  • Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team; manage budgets and donor compliance.

  • Track placement, income, savings and gender‑equity outcomes with MEAL team.

    Requirements

  • Master’s degree in development studies, economics, education/TVET, business or social sciences (Bachelor’s with exceptional experience may be considered).

  • 7+ years’ progressive experience in youth employment, workforce development, TVET or livelihoods programming.

  • Demonstrated success in scaling programs in informal or resource‑constrained contexts.

  • Proven track record managing multi‑donor budgets.

  • Familiarity with NITA accreditation, apprenticeship models or digital gig economy.

  • Experience with gender‑inclusive or women’s economic empowerment initiatives.

  • Exposure to social‑enterprise or earned‑income models.
