CFK Africa Sports Manager Jobs in Kenya



Key Responsibilities

  • Set and drive YDN’s sport‑for‑development strategy, overseeing leagues, coaching and youth participation.

  • Manage CFK Africa’s Kibera FCs, ensuring coaching standards, competitive performance and safeguarding.

  • Lead design and launch of Slum Sports Digital Platform.

  • Build partnerships with federations, clubs, scouts, schools and scholarship providers.

  • Develop proposals and sustainability pathways including sponsorship and platform‑based models.

  • Lead and motivate program officers, coaches and volunteers.

  • Manage budgets and donor compliance; define indicators for participation, retention and talent progression.

    Requirements

  • Master’s degree in sports management, development studies, public health, education or social sciences (Bachelor’s with exceptional experience may be considered).

  • 7+ years’ progressive experience in sport‑for‑development or youth programming.

  • Demonstrated success leading or transforming programs in informal contexts.

  • Proven track record managing multi‑donor budgets.

  • Experience building partnerships and mobilizing resources.

  • Experience commissioning or managing digital platforms.

  • Knowledge of Kenya’s sporting ecosystem.
