CFK Africa Executive Communications & Partnerships Manager Jobs in Kenya; This role is critical to keeping CFK Africa’s programs connected, ensuring smooth information flow across teams and well‑managed partnerships.

The position carries accountability for internal communications, partnership database and stakeholder follow‑up, event management, cross‑program communication, financial stewardship, safeguarding and demonstrable engagement and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Communications & Program Connectivity

Develop and lead internal communications strategy to keep staff informed and aligned.

Draft internal communications on behalf of CEO/ED.

Coordinate inter‑departmental information flows and advise Executive Team on messaging.

Partnership Database & Stakeholder Follow‑Up

Own and maintain CFK Africa’s partnership database.

Follow up on partnerships and stakeholder relationships passed down by CEO/ED.

Track status, next steps and outcomes; prepare briefing notes and talking points.

Events Management

Plan and manage CFK Africa’s main and special events, including logistics, budgeting and coordination.

Organize partner‑facing events and webinars with program teams.

Work with Youth Media Corps and YDN Communications team to document events and capture lessons learned.

Financial Management, Compliance & Impact

Hold accountability for communications, partnership and events budgets.

Ensure spend is on‑target, documented and compliant with procedures and donor regulations.

Oversee procurement, contracts and vendor agreements.

Define indicators

for engagement, partnership health and event outcomes; report regularly to CEO/ED.

Skills and Competencies

Required & Essential

Master’s degree in communications, business administration, international development or social sciences (Bachelor’s with exceptional experience may be considered).

At least 7 years’ progressive experience in communications, partnerships or events management, with senior leadership responsibility.

Proven track record managing complex partner databases and delivering accurate follow‑up.

Demonstrated success managing budgets and compliance with donor regulations.

Strong relationship management skills; experience supporting senior leadership in partnership engagement.

Experience planning and delivering large or high‑profile events.

Familiarity with CRM/data management systems, data protection and safeguarding.
