Job Summary

  • The Program Manager serves as head of all program work in the Organisation.

  • She provides technical program support to the program staff and the executive director.

  • She is a competent, professional, strategic and results-based leader.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all program work of CEWIGO

  • Prepare periodic work plans (quarterly, Bi – annual, annual) to ensure that performance indicators and targets are clearly reflected.

  • Prepare periodic reports and ensure effective achievements of targeted results.

  • Coordinate, prepare and submit donor reports in line with project reporting time lines.

  • Keep in liaison with the donors to ensure contracts compliance and timely responses

  • Coordinate the production of CEWIGO Annual reports,

  • Coordinate and supervise program planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring and evolution of CEWIGO program work.

  • Ensure production of activity reports by the program team,

  • Provide regular feedback to the ED on quality and progress towards program planning,
    budgeting, implementation and monitoring in line with CEWIGO’s Strategic Plan.

  • Initiate fund raising and support program staff in developing proposals

  • Represent CEWIGO at meetings and events with partners and donors in consultation
    with the ED

  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • The candidate should hold a Master’s Degree or its equivalent in development
    related disciplines such as international relations, Social work and administration, development management, human rights, development studies, and Law.

  • Possess strong management and supervisory skills and experience.

  • Demonstrable effectiveness and lead experience in resource mobilization.

  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
