Central Bank of Kenya Manager, Financial Sector Programs Jobs;The role holder will research, design, market, and implement quality, customer‑driven training programs in banking and the financial sector.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic training programs for the banking and financial sector.

  • Engage partners in forums on emerging issues of mutual interest.

  • Collaborate with strategic partners to deliver specialized capacity‑building initiatives.

  • Elevate and operationalize the Institute’s intellectual voice, positioning it as a credible centre of excellence and knowledge hub.

    Technical & Operational Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs aligned with CBK guidelines and regulations.

  • Design market‑driven executive programs for senior management and boards of financial institutions.

  • Identify and recruit specialized experts for training, workshops, seminars, webinars, and conferences.

  • Collaborate in developing quality digital learning content for the Institute’s LMS.

  • Conduct training needs assessments for the banking and financial sector.

  • Prepare annual training calendar.

  • Monitor customer service through evaluations and satisfaction surveys.

  • Develop and implement marketing plans to support training objectives and financial targets.

  • Respond to training enquiries from stakeholders, partners, and service providers.

  • Prepare performance reports in line with approved objectives and work plans.

    Other Responsibilities

  • Mentor and coach staff.

  • Draft talking notes for speakers and resource persons.

  • Develop and monitor training and workshop budgets.

  • Design and develop promotional materials (brochures, folders, memorabilia).

  • Monitor development, delivery, and evaluation
    of training programs.

  • Ensure quality and effective customer service in program implementation.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Division/Management.

    Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Public Policy, Economics, Banking, or related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Banking & Finance, or related discipline.

  • Certification in Project Management, Policy Development, Risk Management, or Strategic Management.

  • PhD in Business Management or related field (advantage).

  • Membership in a relevant professional association (advantage).

    Work Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in banking and financial sector training program development and implementation.
