Central Bank of Kenya Deputy Manager - Reservations and Guest Relations Jobs;The role holder will manage the reservation process and ensure a seamless customer experience. Responsibilities include optimizing space allocation, coordinating meetings, workshops, seminars, conventions, conferences, and corporate events, while enhancing guest relations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Develop guest experience standards and reservation policies.

  • Analyse trends in facility utilization for planning and reporting.

  • Support digital transformation of reservation processes.

  • Build linkages with international and local travel/hotel associations.

  • Strengthen existing and introduce new market‑driven business services.

    Technical & Operational Responsibilities

  • Communicate and coordinate section activities effectively.

  • Supervise reservations team and ensure booking accuracy.

  • Handle escalations and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with departments to optimize resource allocation.

  • Lead logistical and administrative aspects of events and conferences.

  • Develop mechanisms to retain and attract conferencing clientele.

  • Provide guest support and ensure prompt response to attendee needs.

  • Coordinate guest feedback processes with Head, Guest Relations.

  • Develop competitive rate cards and pricing points for events.

  • Identify new event opportunities and market the Institute.

  • Provide function sheets with lead time for support sections.

  • Resolve complex guest issues or complaints.

  • Hold regular meetings with vendors to discuss bookings and feedback.

  • Market the Institute as a world‑class conference venue.

  • Manage conference and events
    budget.

  • Ensure prompt issuance of client invoices.

    Other Responsibilities

  • Coordinate in‑house meetings and events.

  • Communicate event schedules to management and staff.

  • Provide critical event information to management.

  • Maintain proper record keeping and reporting on occupancy and revenue.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by Manager, Conference and Events.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.

    Work Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Demonstrable experience in events management.
