CDTD Part Time Procurement Expert Jobs in Kenya

Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the finance and purchasing department.

Support in preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.

Following and enforcing the organization's procurement policies and procedures.

Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.

Managing inventories and ensuring the maintenance of accurate purchase records.

Overseeing the maintenance and updating of supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, service ranges, etc.

Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.

Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.

Support in preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports (internal and donor).

Staff training and induction to procurement policies and procedures

Any other duties assigned from time to time

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Economics, Finance, Operations, or a related area from a reputable institution.

• Diploma in Procurement/Supply chain.

• Member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM)

Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management; Procurement or a similar field preferred.

2+ years of experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar position.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Supervisory and management experience.

Attention to detail.
