CDTD Part Time Human Resource Expert Jobs in Kenya

The Centre for Domestic Training and Development {CDTD} has established and distinguished itself by working with Domestic Workers in Kenya for over a period of 20 years.

CDTD employs a 5 pronged approach of Mobilization, Skills Training, Employment, Advocacy and Protection.

Under the overall supervision of the Programs Coordinator, the Part Time Human Resource Officer duties will include;

Spearhead all recruitment activities and processes (contracts development etc.) for CDTD

Support in reviewing existing and the development / implementation of HR initiatives and systems

Conduct induction on policies and procedures to employees

Conduct staff appraisals

Support in the management of disciplinary and grievance issues

Identifying, monitoring and evaluating of training and development programs for staff

Maintain employees records according to policy and legal requirements

Monitoring adherence and implementation of the work plans

Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance

Reporting duties

Attend internal meetings on request

Any other duties assigned from time to time

Requirements

Diploma or university degree in HR or other related field

Substantive experience in HR systems implementation

Excellent organizational skills

Must have sound change management skills – problem solving, innovation, process improvement, influence, consultation, conflict resolution, communication and leadership.

Membership of the Institute of Human Resource Management will be an added advantage

Proficiency in computer applications
