CDL Human Resource Software Sales Executive Jobs in Kenya


Qualification

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, ICT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

    Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in sales of software, systems, SaaS products, ERP solutions, CRM systems, HR systems, accounting systems, or cybersecurity solutions.

  • Experience selling to corporate, SME, NGO, government, or institutional clients is an added advantage.


    Key Responsibilities

    Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for software, systems, and digital solutions.

  • Generate leads through prospecting, referrals, networking, digital platforms, cold calls, emails, and client visits.

  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure.

  • Conduct client needs assessments and recommend suitable solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product demos, proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.

  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service agreements.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

    Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

  • Act as key contact between clients and technical/support teams.

  • Follow up after demos, proposals, and implementation discussions.

  • Identify upselling, cross‑selling, and renewal opportunities.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

    Product Knowledge & Market Intelligence

  • Develop strong understanding of company’s software and systems.

  • Keep updated on industry trends, competitor products, and pricing models.

  • Translate technical features into business benefits.

  • Provide market feedback to management.

    Proposal Development & Reporting

  • Prepare accurate proposals, quotations, tender responses, and documentation.

  • Maintain updated records of leads, prospects, and closed deals.

  • Submit weekly and monthly sales reports.

  • Use CRM
    tools to manage activities and monitor performance.

    Coordination with Technical Teams

  • Work closely with technical and support teams to understand client requirements.

  • Coordinate product demos, proof‑of‑concept sessions, and onboarding.

  • Support handover of closed deals to implementation teams.

  • Follow up on implementation progress.
