CDL Human Resource Revenue Assistant (Airbnb and Booking.com) Jobs in Kenya; The Revenue Assistant is responsible for maximising occupancy and revenue through data‑driven pricing strategies and effective platform management across Airbnb, Booking.com, and other OTAs. The role involves setting and adjusting prices, monitoring listing performance, analysing market trends, and ensuring all listings are accurate, optimised, and competitive. It also contributes to income tracking, identifies opportunities to monetise listings further, and collaborates closely with internal teams to achieve overall revenue and occupancy goals.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing & Revenue Management

  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly prices based on demand, seasonality, market trends, and competitor benchmarking.

  • Implement dynamic pricing strategies across all units.

  • Adjust minimum stays, restrictions, and promotions (e.g., Genius, last‑minute, early‑bird discounts).

  • Manage occupancy goals and revenue targets across booking platforms.

    Listing Optimisation (Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, etc.)

  • Improve listing ranking by optimising titles, descriptions, photos, amenities, policies, and review responses.

  • Ensure availability calendars are perfectly synced across all platforms.

    Performance Monitoring & Market Analysis

  • Track and report on key metrics including impressions, CTR, conversion rate, booking trends, RevPAR, and occupancy percentages.

  • Identify underperforming listings and provide actionable solutions.

  • Monitor competitor rates in real time.

  • Analyse local occupancy trends, events, holidays, and seasonal patterns.

  • Conduct monthly benchmarking reports.

    Cross‑Team Collaboration

  • Work with the reservations team to adjust prices based on demand patterns.

  • Make recommendations to management on portfolio improvement and revenue opportunities.

    Requirements

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in revenue management, OTA management, or hotel reservations.

  • Background in data analysis
    or operations preferred.

  • Strong understanding of Airbnb and Booking.com analytics (impressions, ranking, pricing algorithms).

  • Knowledge of dynamic pricing tools such as PriceLabs or Beyond Pricing is an added advantage.

  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.

  • Ability to analyse data and make data‑driven recommendations.

  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong attention to detail — pricing errors and missed updates directly impact revenue.

  • Highly organised with ability to manage multiple platforms and tasks simultaneously.

  • Proactive mindset — able to identify issues and act before they escalate.

    Added Advantage

  • Experience in hospitality (hotels, serviced apartments, or Airbnb portfolio management).

  • Experience using channel managers such as Hostaway, Cloudbeds, or SiteMinder.

  • Digital marketing knowledge including Google Trends and SEO for listings.
