CDL Human Resource Regional Fashion Retail Manager Jobs in Kenya; The Regional Manager is responsible for driving commercial success, operational efficiency, and brand integrity of all stores across two markets. The role oversees regional performance, ensuring alignment to Operating Standards across five core pillars: Revenue & Profit, People, Product, Brand Presentation, and Customer Experience. The role also manages external relationships with suppliers, landlords, and partners, supports country‑level marketing and customer engagement efforts, and serves as the primary point of contact for operations in Uganda and Rwanda.

Main Accountabilities and Activities

Regional Revenue & Profitability

  • Drive achievement of country‑based targets against retail KPIs including conversion, basket size, and MSI.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and address performance gaps.

    Marketing & Partnerships

  • Share local market insights and competitor trends with HQ.

  • Coordinate country‑specific marketing campaigns aligned with company strategy.

  • Build relationships with stakeholders, media, partners, and influencers.

    Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with landlords, suppliers, logistics providers, and regulators.

  • Represent the company in key business forums and negotiations.

    People Management & Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and mentor Store Managers to meet sales and customer experience objectives.

  • Develop staffing plans and allocate resources for optimal operations.

  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback, training, and development.

    Product Performance

  • Act as key contact between regional stores and HQ.

  • Monitor product performance and stock levels; coordinate with merchandising team.

  • Escalate product issues to HQ and follow up for resolution.

    Customer Experience & VM Standards

  • Drive customer experience strategy across all stores.

  • Implement customer feedback systems to identify improvements.

  • Ensure Visual Merchandising standards are maintained.

    Stock Control & Asset Management

  • Oversee stock movement and management practices across regional stores.

  • Ensure operating requirements are met.

    Regional Operational Efficiency

  • Ensure stores operate in accordance with company standards.

  • Conduct regular store visits to assess operations and staff performance.

  • Implement loss prevention strategies.

    Reporting & Analysis

  • Track key metrics and prepare monthly performance reports.

  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to inform decisions.

    Requirements

    Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Marketing, Business Management, or related field.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in fashion retail, managing multi‑store or multi‑country operations.

  • Cross‑border operational experience required.

  • Strong commercial acumen, operational discipline, and brand execution expertise.

  • Fluent in English; French or Swahili a plus; frequent travel required.

    Technical Skills

  • Competence in retail POS / ERP systems.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Analytical and data‑driven decision‑making.

  • Customer‑centric, detail‑oriented, adaptable, resilient, and dependable.

    Working Conditions

  • Frequent travel between stores within the region.

  • Weekend and holiday work as required.
