CDL Human Resource Operations Manager (International Supply Chain Management) Jobs in Kenya;Lead Nairobi operations with responsibility for team management, problem‑solving, process design, and daily execution. The role extends beyond Kenya, involving management of international suppliers and clients, and coordination with shipping lines, transporters, and 3PL partners globally.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, lead, and support the operations team daily.

  • Manage workload, ensure coverage, and drive accountability.

  • Act as main contact for operational issues and resolve efficiently.

  • Coordinate cross‑functionally with trading, treasury, and trade finance teams.

  • Ensure processes are clearly communicated and consistently applied.

  • Act as bridge between teams and management for smooth communication.

  • Design and implement structured processes; simplify workflows.

  • Oversee shipment execution end‑to‑end (containers, trucking, bulk, breakbulk).

  • Coordinate with international suppliers, clients, and service providers.

  • Ensure accurate system updates, documentation, and payment follow‑ups.

  • Monitor stock movements, reconciliations, and operational controls.

  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

  • Train, guide, and develop team members.

  • Proactively identify issues and implement sustainable solutions.


    Requirements

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

  • Strong IT capability and systems experience.

  • 3–5 years’ operations experience with proven leadership.

  • Supply chain, logistics, or multi‑commodity background helpful.

  • Strong problem‑solving
    skills with hands‑on approach.

  • Ability to create clear processes and drive implementation.

  • Experience with international logistics and multi‑country operations.

  • Familiarity with shipping lines, 3PLs, and transport coordination.

  • Knowledge of local and international regulations.

  • Experience in stock management and operational controls.

  • Strong ability to influence across departments.

  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
