CDL Human Resource Nairobi Corporate Relationship Manager – Banking Jobs; Acquire and manage corporate clients by building trusted relationships, advising on financial needs, recommending suitable banking solutions, ensuring compliance during onboarding, providing ongoing account servicing, and identifying opportunities to expand banking services while handling administrative support for client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

On‑board clients in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Drive business development by increasing earnings for corporate banking, facility uptake, and utilization of bank products through cross‑selling.

Advise clients on personal financial needs and objectives by analyzing their financial situation.

Manage client relations in terms of growth and retention.

Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively.

Collect vital data relevant to account opening requirements from new customers.

Draft corporate credit proposals and make recommendations to the credit committee.

Follow up on credit proposals, letters of offer, excess requests, notifications of excesses, and securities with the Credit department.

Monitor relationships and attend to all queries relating to relationship accounts.

Contribute to various initiatives and tasks as assigned by senior management.

Maintain quality corporate asset and liability books by ensuring timely collection on arrears and excesses.

Actively support deposit mobilization initiatives.

Perform any other duties assigned by

immediate supervisor.

Experience

Over 10 years of experience as a Corporate Relationship Manager within the banking sector.

Trade Finance experience is mandatory.

Strong capability in managing corporate portfolios, credit relationships, and trade finance transactions.

Well‑versed in the Nairobi business environment.

Leadership or management training will be an advantage.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a business‑related field from a recognized university (Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration/Management).

Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.

Skills & Knowledge

Bank Management.

Credit Underwriting Skills.

Budget preparations.

Customer service.

Personal Attributes

High level of integrity.

Good communication skills.

Good conduct.
