CDL Human Resource Health, Safety And Environment Associate Coordinator Jobs in Kenya;The HSE Associate Coordinator supports the HSE Coordinator, OFC Executive Assistant, and Estate Managers in overseeing HSE operations across the estate and associated amenities.

The role ensures compliance with company HSE policy, risk management, training, audits, emergency response, incident investigation, and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of company HSE policy requirements.

  • Review high‑risk activities with the EST team and maintain awareness of the HEMP (Risk Register).

  • Update and support the site‑specific training matrix monthly; assist the HSE Trainer with revisions.

  • Conduct internal audits and inspections per the HSE calendar; report findings and update corrective action tracker.

  • Support emergency drills, revise emergency response plans, and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Report, investigate, and record incidents; follow up on corrective actions and review incidents with workers.

  • Stay updated on legislation changes and implement relevant updates.

  • Share HSE statistics during bi‑weekly operations meetings.

  • Facilitate daily toolbox meetings to discuss key HSE issues, alerts, and announcements.

  • Support waste minimization and management strategies; maintain waste records and advise on improvements.

  • Conduct periodic DROPS inspections and generate corrective action reports.

    Requirements

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety/Environmental Management.

  • NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent certification.

  • Minimum 1 year of HSE experience in construction, real estate, mining, oil, or gas industries preferred.

  • IMS compliance and implementation knowledge desirable.

  • Added advantage: trained IMS internal auditor.

  • Understanding of OSHA 2007, WIBA 2007, EMCA 1999 (revised 2015), and other relevant legislation.
