CDL Human Resource Dynamics 365 CRM Developer Jobs in Kenya; The Dynamics 365 CRM (Customer Engagement) Developer supports the implementation and scaling of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across the organization.

The role translates business needs into technical requirements and delivers customizations, automations, and integrations that bring those requirements to life on the Dynamics 365 platform.

This is a hands‑on role with long‑term ownership of the solution — from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Technical Design

  • Engage with key users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.

  • Translate functional requirements into Technical Design Documents and solution specifications.

  • Refine requirements to ensure scalability, maintainability, and alignment with best practices.

    Development & Configuration

  • Configure and customize Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules (Sales, Customer Service, etc.).

  • Develop plug‑ins, workflow activities, and custom assemblies in C#/.NET.

  • Build JavaScript/TypeScript web resources, business rules, and PCF controls.

  • Create model‑driven and canvas Power Apps and automate processes with Power Automate.

  • Design and extend Dataverse data models, relationships, and security roles.

    Integration

  • Design and build integrations between Dynamics 365 CE and other systems using Web API, Dual‑write, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.

  • Implement secure, reliable data exchange and error‑handling patterns.

    Quality, Deployment & Support

  • Manage solution lifecycle (ALM) with Azure DevOps.

  • Perform unit testing, support SIT and UAT, and resolve defects.

  • Provide post‑go‑live support and continuous enhancements.

  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge base.

  • Enforce data quality, security, and governance standards.

    Requirements

    Technical Skills

  • Hands‑on development experience with Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform.

  • Strong C#/.NET skills for plug‑ins and assemblies.

  • JavaScript/TypeScript
    and HTML for client‑side resources and PCF controls.

  • Power Apps (model‑driven and canvas), Power Automate, and Dataverse customization.

  • Integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs, Azure services, and Dual‑write.

  • Solid SQL and data‑modeling fundamentals.

  • Source control and ALM with Azure DevOps/Git.

    Qualifications & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • 3–5+ years of Dynamics 365 CE/CRM development experience.

  • Microsoft certifications preferred: PL‑400, PL‑200, MB‑210.

    Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Copilot Studio, Azure AI, or Microsoft Fabric.

  • Experience integrating CE with Dynamics 365 F&O via Dual‑write.

  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and automated testing.

  • Excellent documentation skills.

  • Analytical problem‑solving with attention to detail.

  • Clear communicator with non‑technical users and consultants.

  • Self‑driven, organized, and deadline‑oriented.
