CDL Human Resource Business Development Specialist Jobs in Kenya;We are seeking a confident, professional and results‑driven Business Development Specialist to proactively identify, source and close new B2B opportunities. The postholder will build strong corporate relationships, manage the full sales pipeline and contribute directly to revenue growth and market expansion.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and develop new B2B leads and opportunities.

  • Research and target prospective corporate clients and decision‑makers.

  • Initiate contact through calls, emails, networking and referrals.

    Client Engagement & Sales Cycle

  • Secure and conduct meetings with corporate decision‑makers.

  • Understand client needs and position appropriate solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals and pitches.

  • Manage opportunities from engagement to negotiation and closure.

    Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term corporate relationships.

  • Follow up consistently on proposals to improve conversion rates.

  • Identify opportunities for repeat and additional business.

    Pipeline & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.

  • Provide regular updates on prospects, pipeline and client engagements.

  • Contribute to overall revenue growth and market expansion.

    Requirements

    Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an
    accredited university in Kenya.

    Experience & Skills

  • 3–5 years proven B2B sales or business development experience.

  • Demonstrated success in closing deals and meeting targets.

  • Strong prospecting and lead‑generation capabilities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong negotiation, influencing and closing abilities.

  • Confidence and professionalism in engaging senior executives.

  • Commercial mindset with ability to identify revenue opportunities.

  • Relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.

  • Proactive, persistent and self‑driven approach.

  • Discipline to manage pipeline independently and deliver measurable outcomes.
