Catholic University of Eastern Africa Lecturer in Educational Technology Jobs in Kenya; Deliver teaching, research, and community service in Educational Technology. Contribute to departmental and faculty development, uphold academic standards, and support students through teaching, supervision, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Academic Duties

  • Teach at least 10 unique units (two semesters) per academic year.

  • Supervise students’ research work.

  • Ensure continuous assessment of students and provide timely feedback.

  • Regularly review courses in line with quality assurance and international best practices.

    Research & Publications
  • Conduct research, publish in refereed journals, and participate in seminars.

  • Contribute to scholarly output through textbooks or book chapters.

    Community & Administrative Service
  • Actively participate in departmental, faculty, and university meetings and functions.

  • Engage in community service activities.

  • Provide office consultation for students and staff.

  • Uphold the good image of the Faculty and University.

  • Demonstrate evidence of administration experience.

    Requirements for Appointment

    Education
  • PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Educational Technology or related field.

    Experience
  • Minimum 3 years teaching experience at university level.

    Research Output
  • At least 2 refereed journal articles, or 1 university‑level textbook, or 2 book chapters.

    Skills & Competencies
  • Proficiency in computer packages.

  • Evidence of administration experience.

  • Commitment to continuous improvement of the department and faculty.
