Catholic Relief Services Project Officer Jobs in Uganda


Catholic Relief Services Project Officer Jobs in Uganda;Monitor and report on project activities in collaboration with CRS staff, partners, government counterparts, community structures and faith‑based networks. Support child protection systems strengthening, ECD services, family‑based care, case management, referrals, monitoring and reporting to advance CRS’s mission of serving poor and vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

Project Implementation

  • Support coordination and implementation of assigned project activities.

  • Ensure alignment with CRS quality principles, donor requirements and good practices.

    Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor challenges and gaps to inform adjustments.

  • Assist partners in reflecting on project experiences.

  • Collaborate with partners to prepare reports per schedule.

    Accountability & Evaluation

  • Coordinate project evaluation activities.

  • Support partners in data collection and analysis.

    Capacity Building

  • Collect information on staff and partner capacity needs.

  • Monitor technical assistance and capacity building activities.

    Documentation & Learning

  • Complete project documentation for assigned activities.

  • Identify information for case studies and promising practices.

    Requirements

    Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Child Protection or
    related field.

    Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in child protection, family strengthening or project implementation.

    Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Observation, active listening and analysis skills.

  • Strong relationship management with partners and communities.

  • Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness.

  • Proactive, results‑oriented and service‑oriented mindset.

    Languages

  • Strong written and spoken English required.

    Travel

  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
