[Catholic Agency for Overseas Development Programme Quality Coordinator Jobs in South Sudan'\CTP South Sudan seeks an experienced Programme Quality Coordinator to lead and strengthen Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) across its programmes and partnerships.
The role provides technical support to programme teams and partners, ensuring programmes meet organisational quality standards, donor requirements and the Core Humanitarian Standard. It strengthens accountability to communities, improves data and evidence, supports learning and contributes to programme design and decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and improve country MEAL systems, tools, indicators and monitoring processes.
Provide technical input to programme design, theories of change, results frameworks and MEAL plans.
Lead or coordinate assessments, evaluations, surveys and data‑quality processes.
Analyse programme data and ensure credible, accurate and traceable evidence.
Strengthen community feedback, accountability, inclusion and participation.
Support learning, after‑action reviews, reporting and evidence‑based programme adaptation.
Build partner capacity through training, mentoring and technical support.
Coordinate with country, regional and head‑office teams and relevant external stakeholders.
Manage direct reports and undertake regular field visits across South Sudan.
About You
Education & Experience
Degree in MEAL, Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences or related field.
At least five years’ relevant experience in MEAL, programme quality
or programme management, including staff supervision.
Strong experience designing and managing results‑based MEAL systems and data‑quality processes.
Experience with quantitative and qualitative research, digital data collection, analysis and reporting.
Strong working knowledge of KoboToolbox, CommCare and Microsoft Excel.
Experience supporting partner‑led humanitarian, development or peacebuilding programmes in complex or conflict‑affected settings.
Knowledge & Skills
Understanding of accountability, safeguarding, protection, gender and disability inclusion.
Familiarity with donor compliance and programme cycle management.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly within South Sudan, including to insecure environments.
