CAFOD International Aid Country Representative Jobs in South Sudan
Job profileCAFOD and Trócaire in partnership (CTP), two of the UK and Ireland leading international aid agencies and part of the Caritas Confederation, have joined together in South Sudan and are looking for a Country Representative for their Juba office.
The Country Representative has ultimate responsibility for the South Sudan Country Programme and works with staff and partner organisations in South Sudan to realise the programme strategy.
Job role
The post holder holds budget authority and management for the South Sudan programme and ensures good financial management of CTP funds and donor funds.
Representation is a key part of the role and the post holder will effectively represent CAFOD and Trócaire to key local and international players and networks, including the local church, institutional donors and other key contacts.
Your profile
We are looking for candidates with demonstrated ability to manage complex programmes in both a development and humanitarian context and experience in one or more of the programme areas: sustainable livelihoods, conflict, peace and reconciliation, HIV/AIDS, economic advocacy plus humanitarian responses in complex political emergencies.
Candidates should also be confident in financial and security management and representing their organisation within NGO, donor and faith based networks.
A commitment to working in partnership is a must.
