Business Scholarship Abroad.

by Francis Kinyua
(KENYA, Nairobi)

I am an African(Kenyan) aged 25yrs, currently striving in a small business to raise funds for my long time dream career in accounting and finance. I sat for my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education(KCSE) in 2001 and attained a mean grade of B-(MINUS) and qualified for the local public universities entry grade. However I could not make to meet the financial costs for my further studies due to my family's financial instability. Being the fifth born in a family of nine and the only one who showed some interests in Education in the family and the immediate community, my father could not raise the school fees that was required for my further studies. I understood the fact that he has a paramount responsibility over the other siblings who also need to reach where I reached. I vowed to venture in retail businesses to raise the amount but all my efforts have been rendered fruitless. I have tried in many ways to raise funds through well-wishers but have not seen any positive feedback. I therefore humbly request for an undergraduate scholarship in business administration from a scholarship or financial institutions or an individual anywhere, locally or abroad.

I am currently applying for a degree course at University of Central Missouri but I do not have the tuition fees that is required to enrol for the first semester.

Please help me.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully

Francis K.

Good expression of interests.
by: Anonymous

This is a good and clear expression of the uncertainties that hinders your dreams of becoming an accountant and a financial analyst.

However you need to show more vividly whether you have a passion of your career in terms of how you came to develop interest in finance and accounts and how you plan to serve your community and the society at large.
