Business Advisor Job Vacancies in Kenya


Our Client is currently looking to hire a Business Advisor / Consultant.

The person will be assigned businesses which they will assist in thinking through key aspects of their business model and strategies – be it product design, marketing, supply chain, production or sales and distribution.

In partnership with our team you will also assist in developing their models and preparing them for investments, including promoting them to potential investors.

Responsibilities

  • Attracting and engaging high-potential and growth-oriented businesses for our programmes and services
  • Screening and selection of prospective business and carry out due diligence on selected businesses
  • Facilitate business development workshops ensuring the successful adoption and use of the companies tools and methodology
  • Research on the company, market and industry-specific trends and insights
  • Assist businesses in their efforts to comprehensively audit their business model,and identify and analyse their challenges and opportunities
  • Support businesses in crafting action plans addressing the identified challenges and opportunities, and aid them in the implementation these
  • Mobilise mentors and other external resources necessary for an
    effective implementation of action plans
  • Assist businesses with investor presentations and support them in the investment raising process
  • Liaise with the Head of Support on the progress of the businesses, including writing periodic progress reports and keeping CRM system up-to-date
  • Reporting and documentation for investors and other stakeholders

    Requirements

  • Required education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Required relevant work experience: 5 years
  • Required skills: Market research, intelligence; Budgeting, financial planning;
  • Presentation skills; Business development;
  • Business strategy; Financial analytics and forecasting; Entrepreneurship; Training program planning; Project implementation; Problem-solving
