About the Role:

The Field Sales Agent will sell the Electric products in his allocated zone, on door-to-door basis, targeting primary charcoal users, households and professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieving personal set sales targets: The FSA will organize his daily and weekly routes to systematically achieve his/her weekly and monthly sales targets. The performance will be analysed weekly.

  • Sales activities: The FSA sells door-to-door and any other sales method that will be required from her/him at any time by the Team Leader or Management. As an FSA you will be the representative of the company and must at any time give an excellent image of the company, its products and its brand. Supervise the logistics of the deliveries of your sales your update to activities including sales activations when requested, raising customers’ interest and onboarding customers in your own pipeline. Operate overall sales activities to ensure smooth implementations (cooking demo, etc.). Cover each route in your zone. Contribute to home deliveries and customer education on contract and operation of products. Strictly follow the customer screening, selection, and verification process.

  • Reporting: Produce at least 1 day in advance the daily plan to your Team Leader, plus a weekly plan at the end of the previous week. Send your team leader the daily and weekly reports respecting the processes that will be decided by the company. Upload the designated phone app and duly use it when you are in the field.

  • Stock management: Follow the
    stock management procedures in place. Safeguard the company’s stock at any given time.

  • Customer retention: Keeping in control of the quality of your sales, including customers’ retention and customers’ adhesion to the payment plan. Attend to customer service cases. You are responsible for onboarding customers and their payment whenever they will opt for a Pay-as-you-go system.

  • Reclaim and return to payment: Implement programs for defaulters to return to the payment plan and reclaim. Call customers regarding loan payments. Motivate repayment and support on any challenges.

  • Data collection: Adhere to data collection requirements, in a timely using all tools and technologies provided.

  • Attend to any other duty as assigned by the manager.

  • Attend all training and meetings in BURN offices as requested.

  • If there are any advances given for expenses incurred in carrying out your job, do not abuse them.

  • Always arrive on time for all field activities.

  • Report matters on the ground from the field in a timely manner.
