Browns Plantations Factory Electrician Jobs in Kenya; The job holder will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical plant, machinery, appliances, and equipment to ensure reliable operation and performance of factories, power stations, and other industrial electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain electrical appliances and machinery in factories, water pumps, and other industrial sites.

Raise materials or spares for jobs as per approved estimates and budgets.

Observe health, safety, and environmental procedures at work sites.

Address hazards raised to the Electrical Section, particularly regarding industrial installations.

Carry out electrical projects/installations in compliance with standards and regulations.

Participate in annual electrical inspections of factories and portable machines; implement corrective actions.

Perform preventive maintenance in Black Tea Factories and power stations during shutdown periods.

Carry out domestic installations in offices and residential houses as assigned.

Attend to electrical breakdowns within stipulated timelines.

Adhere to HACCP plan and plant regulations while performing duties.

Ensure compliance with health and safety systems, policies, and reporting procedures.

Support company and departmental initiatives and ongoing projects.

Requirements

Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation Engineering.

At least 2 years’ experience in electronic principles and operations.

Computer literate.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong organizing and planning abilities.

Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.

Must be a team player.
