British High Commission Head of Finance Risk and Procurement Jobs in Ghana
Main Purpose of Job:
BHC Accra is a large post and is charged with delivering high impact and complex policy, programmes and campaigns on the full breadth of the Africa Strategy.

We are looking for a self-starting and enthusiastic person, with strong finance, accounting skills and extensive programme management experience. This post will involve ensuring effective compliance and delivery across a range of key BHC functions.
The post will work across ODA and Admin budgets and play a key role in ensuring best practice in financial, commercial and risk management, as well as being the main contact on fraud prevention and supporting the Senior Programme Manager on programme management delivery.
The post will involve working closely with the Corporate and Cross-Cutting Teams – including playing a key role in the delivery up to £10m of development assistance annually – and direct line management of finance and procurement staff. The successful applicant should be a good communicator and able to work alongside colleagues across a range of grades.
As well as finance skills, experience of international development programming, risk management, procurement and corporate working will be highly desirable. This post is critical in bringing together legacy departmental elements in the merged FCDO and the
