British Army Training Unit Kenya Electrician Jobs


British Army Training Unit Kenya Electrician Jobs ; Carry out domestic and industrial electrical installation, inspection, maintenance and repair in compliance with BS7671, IET Wiring Regulations and MOD Safety Rules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct minor electrical installation work.

  • Carry out routine inspections, maintenance and servicing.

  • Review maintenance records for compliance.

  • Make safe defective appliances.

  • Operate and maintain test equipment.

  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to LV installations.

  • Identify, isolate and make safe faulty installations.

  • Maintain knowledge of Electrical Safety Rule Book.

  • Respond to emergencies on a 24‑hour basis.

  • Maintain equipment and PPE in safe condition.

  • Keep work site tidy and secure materials/tools.

  • Uphold DIO values and BATUK charter.
