Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and managing delivery fleet
    Planning routes for the drivers for delivery
    Truck optimization and cost reduction
  • Organize timely delivery of materials, based on customer demand
  • Focusing on improving and documenting daily activity for dispatch team and drivers
    Implement schedule for transportation and delivery
  • Develop and implement plans to improve transportation in the company
    Collaborate and work closely with the production department, store and loading
  • Monitoring operations to ensure that staff members comply with the set policies and procedures, safety rules, environmental policies and government regulations
  • Monitoring spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets
  • Directing activities related to dispatching, routing, or tracking transportation vehicles
  • Develops or implements plans to improve transportation of goods

    Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in logistics, purchasing and supplies and procurement
  • 5 Plus years’ experience as a Logistics Manager in a busy FMCG or manufacturing environment
  • Good analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Good reporting skills
  • Time management skills
  • Complex problem solving skills

    Brites Management Sales Coordinator Job Opportunities in Kenya

    Responsibilities

  • Coordinate orders between sales and production to ensure efficiency on demand planning
  • Coordinate sales on attainment of daily targets
  • Resolve customer claims and queries
    Follow-up on timely delivery of orders – on time, in full with no errors
  • Manage key accounts and establish customer relationships to increase sales
  • Circulation of reports on as assigned
    Key in orders
    on the system and ensure all orders are serviced
  • Answer to customer’s complaints in a timely manner
  • Work closely with the loading, dispatch team and drivers for orders delivery
  • Ensure all orders are captured accurately.
    Prepares and analyzes quality reports for Management review

    Qualifications

  • Degree/ Diploma in sales and marketing or a business related course
  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications
  • 2-3 years working experience as a sales coordinator in a busy manufacturing environment
  • Experience in logistics, dispatch, telesales and customer service will be an added advantage.
