Britam Senior Business Operations Officer Jobs in Kenya ; Responsible for portfolio administration, valuation, reporting, and performance measurement of Unit Trust Funds, Wealth Management Funds, Retail Pension, and Discretionary Clients under Britam Asset Managers.

Key Responsibilities

Review and post portfolio income entries and support valuation activities.

Perform daily valuation, pricing, amortization, revaluation, and impairment of securities.

Conduct validation checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of fund pricing processes.

Perform daily cash and investment reconciliations between custodians and internal records.

Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks; conduct monthly asset holding reconciliations.

Oversee recording and settlement of traded securities, corporate actions, and disbursements.

Prepare and submit regulatory reports to CMA, RBA, trustees, and other stakeholders.

Produce statutory, client, and management reports accurately and on schedule.

Review and disseminate client statements, contract notes, and transaction confirmations.

Support resolution of client operational queries and maintain high service standards.

Measure fund performance against benchmarks and support performance reporting.

Compute, accrue, and validate management fees, expenses, and fund charges.

Provide operational support to BAM Uganda under the hub‑and‑spoke framework.

Coordinate with custodians, trustees, finance, IT, and client service teams.

Participate in system enhancements, UAT, and process improvement initiatives.

Support operational efficiency, digitization, and

automation efforts.

Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Perform any other duties assigned in support of business operations objectives.

Requirements for Appointment

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

4–6 years’ relevant experience in asset management, administration, or investment operations.

Professional certification in accounting or finance (CPA Part II or above, ACCA, CFA Level I or above preferred).

Demonstrated experience in fund accounting and valuation processes, reconciliation, transaction management, regulatory reporting, and client servicing.

Experience working within a regulated financial environment is essential.

Exposure to regional operations or multi‑entity environments is an added advantage.
