Role Purpose

  • The role holder will plan and deliver alumni activity for the Commonwealth Scholarship programme in accordance with the global alumni engagement plan for this contract. The successful candidate will plan and deliver face-to-face and digital alumni activity in the country of posting and in a selected number of additional countries. They will monitor activity that is delivered and report regularly.

    Role specific knowledge and experience:

  • The main essential knowledge and experience points that we are looking for you to evidence are:

  • Under-graduate degree or equivalent qualification/experience.

  • Basic knowledge of UK higher education sector for postgraduate study, including understanding of pathways to the UK for international student recruitment.

  • Knowledge and experience in project management.

    Role Specific Skills

  • Proven leadership of events management with a range of people and partner organisations.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines.

  • Managing relationships with stakeholders.

    Desirable requirements:

  • Understanding of scholarship programmes.

  • Post-graduate qualification.
