Bristol Park Hospital Laboratory Technologist Jobs in Kenya

Responsibilities

Undertake disease control activities such as disease search, vaccination, and enforcement of livestock movement regulations.

Participate in training of stakeholders in vector control programmes.

Treat sick animals and advise on good veterinary practices.

Collect data and prepare reports on animal health, products, and markets.

Provide advice on animal breeding and welfare.

Undertake postmortem examinations and other diagnostic tests.

Qualifications and Requirements

Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution.

Registration and valid practicing license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).

2–3 years of relevant work experience preferred.

Good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Proficiency in computer applications and laboratory information systems is an added advantage.
