Bridge-in Agriculture Training Program in Ghana

The BRIDGE-in Agriculture training program will be delivered by two BDS partners with extensive experience in training and upskilling youth and women in Ghana.

Africa Skills Hub

Africa Skills Hub (ASH) is a development and social enterprise-oriented organization that creates economic and skill-based opportunities for Africa’s youth and women. Africa Skills Hub (ASH) will provide participants with the skills they need to be able to take full advantage of the loan provided.

Through training modules relating to starting and growing a business, improving on their skills (including bookkeeping and marketing), successful applicants will be empowered to find their place in the agriculture value chain. By so doing, they will create jobs and contribute to gender equality in the agricultural and adjacent sectors.

Training Programs

Sustainable Agribusiness Management

The Sustainable Agribusiness Management course provides a holistic understanding of sustainable agriculture practices, resource efficiency, waste management, ethical and social responsibility, sustainable supply chain management, and agribusiness innovation.

Social Media Masterclass

The Social Media Masterclass for Agric Startups offers participants a comprehensive understanding of effective social media usage for agribusiness, including content creation, platform mastery, and strategies for measuring and improving social media impact.

Financial Literacy

The Financial Literacy Course provides essential knowledge for participants to grasp the significance of financial management, differentiate personal and business accounts, understand costing and pricing strategies, utilize e-commerce for business growth, analyze financial standings, and develop a strategic vision for their businesses.

Mind Builders Africa

Mind Builders Africa (MBA) is an organization focused on entrepreneurship and innovation development in Africa. They provide quality business development services – including training – across Africa, building world-class leaders and creating sustainable businesses. MBA’s training module equips participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial capabilities within the agricultural sector, fostering self-reliance, innovation, and economic growth.

Entrepreneurship and Business Development

Covers business idea generation, feasibility assessment, business planning, legal requirements, financial management, and leadership skills. Participants learn how to start and manage successful agribusinesses.

Personal Development and Career Readiness

Concentrates on personal development and career readiness, covering self-awareness, effective communication, resume writing, interview skills, and professional skills.
