Opened in September 2015, Braeburn Dar es Salaam International School is the youngest school within the highly respected Braeburn Group of International Schools.

Located close to the Indian Ocean, just north of the city centre of Dar es Salaam, the school is a co-educational, day school offering the National Curriculum of England and CIE IGCSEs to students between the ages of 2 and 16 years.

Braeburn Dar es Salaam International School is looking to appoint an

IGCSE Science Teacher

for mid-August 2021. This post provides an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative teacher with recent experience of teaching secondary Science and IGCSE Biology and Chemistry and possibly Physics, to secondary students. Three years’ teaching experience post qualification is essential for work permit purposes.

A commitment to contributing to a very positive school environment, including an extensive extra-curricular programme is essential.

The successful candidate will receive a two-year renewable contract, medical cover, an accommodation allowance and a competitive local salary.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Applicants will be asked for an ICPC, or the equivalent police certificate of good conduct from the country of current employment.
