Senior Accountant

Our client, a global leader in Business Process Outsourcing is looking for a highly experienced accountant who will be in charge of all accounting information processing to assist in producing financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in accordance with the mission, core values, and purposes of organization

Responsibilities

with auditors on audit matters and acting on management letters

Reviewing of the final TBs

Reviewing of monthly Debtors and creditors reconciliations as well as monthly control accounts reconciliation.

Revenue reconciliation

Supervision of the accounts to ensure that they are according the accepted standards

Review fiscal returns

Debtors invoicing and payment monitoring

Preparing the Annual Financial Statements.

Creating solutions to new financial challenges by applying financial knowledge

Helping to deliver timely and accurate management accounts

Assisting with consolidation process as well as pack preparation and analysis

Adhoc reports and work as required by management

Skills and competences

Proven leadership and administrative capacity.

Accuracy, attention to detail and problem-solving skills

The ability to work independently without supervision.

Thorough understanding of ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft office is a must.

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field;

Must be a CPAK or ACCA with a minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience.

Experience in a multinational/ international company is preferred
