Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to Senior Hospitality Officer, an officer at this level may be deployed either in the conferencing facility, kitchen or in a service area. Duties and responsibilities at this level involve:

  • Ensuring efficient and proper organization and management of hospitality services

  • Carrying out on-the-job training of staff

  • Supervising hospitality personnel

  • Carrying out housekeeping services;

  • Ensuring conformity with health standards

  • Reviewing menus

  • Ensuring use of standard operating procedures.

    Requirements for Appointment

    Direct appointment to this grade will be made from candidates who are in possession of:

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Hotel and Catering Management or Hotel and Hospitality Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized
    institution;

  • Certificate in computer applications.
