Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to Senior Hospitality Officer, an officer at this level may be deployed either in the conferencing facility, kitchen or in a service area. Duties and responsibilities at this level involve:

Ensuring efficient and proper organization and management of hospitality services

Carrying out on-the-job training of staff

Supervising hospitality personnel

Carrying out housekeeping services;

Ensuring conformity with health standards

Reviewing menus

Ensuring use of standard operating procedures.

Requirements for Appointment

Direct appointment to this grade will be made from candidates who are in possession of:

Bachelor’s degree in either Hotel and Catering Management or Hotel and Hospitality Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized
institution;

Certificate in computer applications.
